Survey: Risk perception and interest in food safety

06.05.2021: The survey on interest in food safety and risk perception in Switzerland was conducted on behalf of the FSVO in autumn 2020. Over 1000 people took part online and by telephone.

The population’s interest in food safety was examined, including factors that influence decisions relating to food and the main sources of information about food risks. Questions were also asked about confidence in different information sources and awareness and risk perception.
