Partnerships

To fulfill its food safety, nutrition, animal health and animal welfare obligations, the FSVO works nationally and internationally with a large number of institutions.

The FSVO attaches great importance to being prepared for new tasks and threats. It therefore regards itself as a partner to other national and international agencies and organisations with similar or related duties and objectives.

International institutions

Global networking is becoming increasingly important in all areas of life, and international relations are gaining in significance for the FSVO too.

International agreements

International agreements define and supervise the framework conditions that ensure international trade is safe for people and animals. The FSVO contributes to technical adaptations and the ongoing development of existing agreements.
