Deer, camelids, other bi-ungulates and elephants
Veterinary rules for the import and transit of Deer, camelids, other bi-ungulates (Artiodactyla except domestic cattle, sheep, goats and pigs) and elephants (Proboscidea) from third countries to Switzerland.
This species cannot be imported into Switzerland directly, but only by an import through the EU.
They apply with reservation as to import bans, temporary sanitary restrictions and special conditions in force at the time of import.
A „general import permit“ of the Federal office for agriculture might be necessary to import animals of some of these species, see (in German)
